Children arrive at the holiday shop with a list of people, not a list of products. Stock the shop the same way and it is far easier to run.
The people on almost every list
- Mom and Dad. Nearly every child buys for a parent first, so these two tables need the most stock and the widest price range. Browse Mom gifts and Dad gifts.
- Grandparents. Often two or four of them, so quantities matter. See Grandma gifts and Grandpa gifts.
- Brothers and sisters. Toys and small novelties sell quickly here. See gifts for boys and girls, brother gifts and sister gifts.
The people who are easy to forget
- Aunts and uncles
- Teachers
- Pets, which children love to shop for
- Step-parents, neighbors and family friends: gifts for women, gifts for men and gifts for everyone else
Price points that keep every child shopping
Decide the most any gift will cost, then stock mostly below it. Most of our gifts are $5 or less, and many are $1 or less, so a child with a few dollars can still buy for several people. Put the lowest-priced gifts where the youngest children can reach them.
Do not forget the bags
Each child needs a way to carry gifts home without the surprise being spoiled. Self-sealing gift bags come in three sizes.
Ordering basics: $10 minimum order, free UPS Ground shipping on continental U.S. orders over $400, and payment by card, check or school purchase order (approved orders over $400). Unsold, undamaged gifts can be returned before January 15 with a return authorization. See shipping and ordering and our returns policy for the details.
